With the new year...great things are happening at Simply Sisters!

Website is in the New Year!

We are in the process of developing our website and it will be ready in January! Our website will provide easy access to information about accommodations, a calendar for available dates, gallery of photos to view and much more! Having a blog is a great way to get the word out in the beginning, but a website offers immediate access to questions without a great deal of searching.

Until the website is launch sometime in January, please view photos under the month of May on our blog. We already have 19 weekends booked for next year, please call for available dates if your group would like to get together at Simply Sisters - call Manager Holly at 320-309-8006. Our first Holiday Boutique and Open House went wonderful! We had a great time welcoming our visitors, giving tours, and hoped everyone had fun shopping!
The next exciting news is... our NEW WEBSITE!

Our goal is to have the site up and running sometime next month.

Christmas Gift Boutique & Open House!

Simply Sisters Retreat Center will be hosting a Christmas Gift Boutique and Open House on Nov. 29, from 5-8 p.m. and Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 7, 8, from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. This is your chance to tour Simply Sisters and enjoy great holiday shopping with coffee, cider, and cookies!

Along with great gift items from occasional shops, Roadies Market of Albany and the Hollyhock Cottage in Farming, there will be fuzzy slippers, great soup and dip mixes, something for the wine lover, and other great holiday decor!

Simply Sisters will be your destination when looking for a gift for that special someone!

Winter is right around the corner!

Whether we  like it or not, snowflakes will soon be in the air! With that in mind, Simply Sisters will be warm and cozy for any quilting and scrapbooking group or for a getaway. BUT with great ice fishing at the Chain of Lakes and snowmobile trails a few blocks away, we can accommodate those groups too! There's plenty of parking for fishhouses, trailers, snowmobiles, and trucks! Soon, fish will be waiting to get caught, trails will be snowmobile-ready, and of course favorite craft projects are waiting to be finished.

Simply Sisters Retreat Center knows that sharing is caring! A HUGE thank you is for our most recent guests! They were caring enough to share several quilting books for the beginning of our resource library! Their wonderful gift will be treasured for our future guests for years to come!

It has taken a little fine tuning, but we have put together a great menu for our guests!!
From delicious muffins and fruit platters to homemade lasagna, soups and sandwiches.

If cooking a meal is not your idea of fun during your stay at Simply Sisters, we have a variety of catered-in menus to choose from.  Either delivered hot and ready to serve or meals that can be thrown in the oven, crock pot, or tossed in a bowl.

OR...

How does adding a Sherlock Holmes-style mystery dinner to your retreat stay sound? This will be your chance to showcase your acting skills, solve a mystery, and enjoy a great meal all at the same time!

It's here!

Wireless internet is officially available at Simply Sisters Retreat Center! We are so glad we can now accommodate digital scrapbookers and for any of our guests who "want to stay in touch" when away from home. There is still time to book your two-night stays during the week for this fall, but the weekends are filling up fast!

I know it's hard to think about winter, but... consider booking your next retreat this winter at Simply Sisters! A cup of complimentary hot cocoa and homemade marshmallows will keep your hands warm and as well as slippers available for your feet! Hope to hear from you soon!

Simply Sisters Retreat Center's blog has only been up since mid March and we have had 2,000 page views as of today, so....THANK YOU!  Besides being the newest central Minnesota's retreat center, remember Simply Sisters is also blessed to be next to prime fishing at the Chain of Lakes, four golf courses within 20 minutes, and new paved bike trails and snowmobile trails. Take a drive through rolling hillside country – beautiful anytime of the year. Great fun in Richmond - July 20-21!

Visit Simply Sisters Retreat Center this Friday and Saturday, July 20-21 from 9-6 for an open house along with the 3rd annual watercolor gallery and art show, "Sisters of Art," presented by Carol Euerle and Donna Jarve. We're now officially members of the Richmond Civic and Commerce!
Today Kathy and I attended our first meeting and we're very excited to be members and to be involved with a great community! As a reminder...we're having tours every other Tuesday, from 6-7:30 p.m., beginning tonight, along with the Music in the Park which is from 7-8:30 p.m. I listed the dates in a previous post.
